Hasidic Rabbi Arrested for Hate Crime in Alleged Vehicular Assault of Black Teens
The leader of a Jewish vigilante group organized by ultra-orthodox rabbis in the predominantly black Crown Heights section of Brooklyn was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, police in New York said April 25, after he drove his car onto a sidewalk to chase a group of black teen-agers, most of whom are immigrants from the Caribbean islands.

The N.Y. Police Department classified the incident as a possible hate crime, because Rabbi Israel Shemtov was alleged to have used the "N" word and other racial epithets as he allegedly attempted to assault the negro youths with his car.

There were no injuries, but the rabbi was issued an appearance ticket by officers from the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights. However, due to the tremendous political clout of Hasidic Jews in N.Y. it is likely Shemtov will not be prosecuted or that he will receive only a token fine. No other faction in N.Y. is allowed to operate a vigilante group, except Jews, who do so legally.

According to the N.Y. Times of April 26, the black teen-agers, "told the police that at about 2:45 Thursday afternoon they saw the rabbi near the intersection of Kingston and Montgomery Streets and exchanged stares. Moments later, Shemtov drove his car onto the sidewalk and attempted to run down the youths, said Deputy Inspector Michael Collins, a police spokesman. The teen-agers wrote down the car's license-plate number and identified the rabbi in a line-up, Collins said.

"Shemtov, who has been arrested several times for clashes with the police, said that the teen-agers had thrown a bottle at him and that he had called 911 for help. The police said there was no record of a 911 call."

The Harvard "Hate Watch" group has appointed itself censor and policeman of the net and in support of this Orwellian function, regularly publishes an inventory of articles supposedly citing examples of "hate" in the world. We doubt however that the preceding item will be including in their inventory.

Hate crime statistics nationwide are skewered by political bias and selective indignation and are therefore meaningless. The online "Hate Watch" group has refused to include any news about the Jew who attempted to bomb the Florida synagogue where Shimon Peres was to speak. These "hate-monitoring" groups are not objective. They wish to silence their rivals in the political arena under cover of human rights shibboleths, by making it appear as though only whites, Christians and Germans are supposedly haters, when in fact the Talmud of the Jewish religion is the primordial hate tome, preaching that non-Jews are not human. Any religion based on such a book is ipso facto a hate cult, but don't expect to see that reality mirrored in the fantasy stats of the Jewish-controlled "human rights watchdog" groups.
