PRESS RELEASE
GUILTY PLEA ENTERED BY ORGANIZER
OF "ECSTASY" SMUGGLING RING USING
HASIDIC COURIERS
ALAN VINEGRAD, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, ALLAN M. KEANEY, Acting Special Agent-in-Charge, Drug Enforcement Administration, New York, JOSEPH R. WEBBER, Special Agent-in-Charge, United States Customs Service, New York, and BERNARD B. KERIK, Commissioner, New York City Police Department, today announced the entry of a guilty plea by SEAN EREZ, the organizer of a smuggling ring that used Hasidic couriers to import more than a million MDMA pills (commonly known as "ecstasy") from the Netherlands into the United States from late 1998 through June 1999.
EREZ pled guilty to conspiracy to import MDMA before United States District Judge I. Leo Glasser, United States District Judge. EREZ faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines, when sentenced by Judge Glasser on October 11, 2001. As part of his guilty plea, EREZ agreed to forfeit approximately $750,000 in proceeds on deposit in three banks located in Luxembourg. The government previously forfeited an additional $220,000 in other assets belonging to EREZ's co-defendant Richard Berman.
Since October 1998, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Customs Service, and the New York City Police Department conducted an investigation under the auspices of the United States Department of Justice Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force into a major ecstasy smuggling organization based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and also operating in Brooklyn, Long Island and Miami.
According to the indictment and a previously filed 70-page complaint detailing the charges, EREZ moved from New York to Amsterdam in the fall of 1998 and set up an ecstasy smuggling ring there. Beginning in approximately December 1998, EREZ's recruiters hired numerous Orthodox individuals between the ages of eighteen and twenty, principally Hasidic men, from the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn and Monsey, New York, to serve as ecstasy couriers. The recruiters believed that these couriers would not attract the attention of Customs inspectors because of their religious dress and appearance. The recruiters exploited the youth and relatively sheltered background of their recruits by falsely telling them that they would be smuggling diamonds. Although there were warning signs along the way that the couriers were smuggling drugs, they generally closed their eyes to these facts.
Each courier was promised a free trip to Europe and approximately $1,500 in exchange for making a smuggling trip. Some couriers also were paid a finder's fee of approximately $200 for each additional courier they recruited. Each courier smuggled between 30,000 and 45,000 ecstasy pills into the United States. During the time period of the conspiracy, the organization typically recruited at least three couriers per week. The couriers smuggled and attempted to smuggle the drugs through Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; and Montreal, Canada. In a few instances, larger quantities of ecstasy -- between 100,000 and 200,000 pills per shipment -- were smuggled into the United States secreted inside goods transported through the international commercial shipping system. In addition, some couriers smuggled drug proceeds (approximately $500,000 at a time) from New York back to Amsterdam for delivery to EREZ. The investigation disclosed that as the head of the organization, EREZ oversaw the recruitment of couriers, the shipment of drugs into the United States, and the return shipment of cash proceeds of drug trafficking from the United States to Amsterdam.
On June 20 and 21, 1999, EREZ and two other defendants (his girlfriend and assistant, Diana Reicherter, and a recruiter of couriers, Shimon Levita) were arrested in Amsterdam, and three other defendants (all distributors, Richard Berman, Yves Cesar Vandenbranden and Giacomo Pampinella) were arrested in New York and Miami. Shortly thereafter, a seventh defendant (Simcha Roth, a recruiter of couriers) was arrested in Monsey, New York, after returning there from Israel. EREZ and Reicherter were extradited from the Netherlands to the United States in February 2001 after contesting extradition for more than nineteen months. Levita waived his right to contest extradition. EREZ is believed to be the most significant ecstasy trafficker extradited from the Netherlands to the United States to date.
EREZ is the final defendant named in the seven-person indictment to plead guilty. In addition, eight couriers and recruiters who worked in EREZ's organization have pled guilty in this district to importing or conspiring to import MDMA. Two other couriers were convicted in France, and one other courier was convicted in Canada. EREZ's guilty plea marks the conclusion of the government's investigation into his organization.
In announcing the guilty plea MR. VINEGRAD stated, "This prosecution has benefitted from the extraordinary assistance provided by the Dutch National Police and the Dutch Ministry of Justice, which provided United States authorities with evidence derived from wiretaps on EREZ's telephones, pursuant to the Treaty between the United States of America and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters. As a result, we have succeeded in bringing to justice an entire criminal organization responsible for smuggling enormous quantities of ecstasy into the United States."
Acting Special Agent-in-Charge KEANEY stated: "The successful dismantling of this global drug trafficking organization is the result of sustained cooperation, coordination and the ability of domestic and international law enforcement agencies to work together toward a common goal."
Special Agent-in-Charge WEBBER stated: "Today's guilty plea by Sean Erez is another example of law enforcement's commitment to a unified approach, both domestic and international, in the identification and dismantling of complex, worldwide, ecstasy smuggling and distribution organizations. This investigation highlights the encompassing effects of the ecstasy epidemic on our society. The United States Customs Service continues to forge forward in its attempt to combat this trend."
Police Commissioner KERIK stated: "The guilty plea by Sean Erez brings an end to a multi-million dollar ecstasy trade and illustrates the working relationship of the worldwide law enforcement community - in this case, from the Netherlands to New York. Any drug trade is not beyond the scope of the law enforcement community and we will work together to bring these violators to justice."
The government's case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Linda A. Lacewell and Sarah Lum.
The Defendant:
Name: SEAN EREZ
Alias: "Opher Erez," "Shmule" and "Chaim"
D.O.B.: June 9, 1970

Jews Push Drugs to Destroy America
by Mike Rose
In July, more information surfaced on yet another multinational Hasidic drug ring. This time over a dozen defendants pleaded guilty to importing over one million hits of ecstasy from the Netherlands.
The alleged mastermind behind this particular Jewish smuggling operation was Sean Erez, a supposed "Canadian" who was described as being "of Israeli descent" by The Toronto Star in an article published on January 26. The National Post, on the same date, related that this Jewish outlaw "holds both Canadian and Israeli citizenship." In other words, this is just another typical Jew.
He and his concubine, Diana Reicherter, were arrested in Amsterdam. Erez is charged with nine counts of trafficking and money laundering. These Jews are up for sentencing on October 11, 2001, but with the current state of affairs within the Jewish legal system, I wouldn't expect much justice.
The group recruited and used several young Orthodox Jews between the ages of eighteen and twenty years old to shuttle the drugs. Most of the Jews were right out of Brooklyn or Monsey, Jew York. Reportedly, one of the head mobilizers for the couriers was the Hasidic Jew Shimon Levita. Levita, son of a prominent Hasidic Jew Yorker, pleaded with the court at his sentencing with statements such as: "I didn't know what drugs were" and, "I was raised in a real Orthodox religious home." As a result, he received a rather light 2 1/2 years from the Jew magistrates. Altogether, eight of these recruiters and drug mules have pleaded guilty.
Ecstasy can be produced in Holland for $0.50-$2.00 a pill. The Jews then turn around in America and sell it for $25-30 per dose, sometimes even up to $40 or more. These Jewish dope smugglers were hauling hundreds of thousands of dollars in suitcases to Amsterdam, then picking up the drugs in Europe and bringing them back through cities such as Brussels, Frankfort, Paris and Montreal. The routes used are the same routes Jews used to smuggle diamonds. The Jews are credited with being able to smuggle ecstasy effectively, thanks to their familiarity with the routes and their ability to smuggle small objects. Of interest is the relation ecstasy smugglers have with Israel - the tight communities tend to make smuggling easier. Two devious Jews have been convicted in France and one in Canada. A 71-year old retired Jew was caught with a suitcase full of 61,000 pills in Miami. Net worth of the pills: $1.2 million. Three years ago, 350,000 tablets were being stopped by customs officials yearly. Now that number has soared to 9.3 million/year. Just imagine what's getting in. Even the DEA admits the Jewish involvement:
"Clandestine laboratories operating throughout Western Europe, primarily the Netherlands and Belgium, manufacture significant quantities of the drug in tablet, capsule, or powder form. Although the vast majority of MDMA [ecstasy] consumed domestically is produced in Europe, a limited number of MDMA labs operate in the United States. In addition, in recent years, Israeli organized crime syndicates, some composed of Russian emigres associated with Russian organized crime syndicates, have forged relationships with Western European traffickers and gained control over a significant share of the European market. The Israeli syndicates are currently the primary source to U.S. distribution groups." (http://www.dea.gov/concern/mdma/mdma.htm)
The reason the young Hasidic/Chassidic Jews were used as drug runners is because of, according to an Associated Press report from July 17, "the belief that their conservative look [sic] black hats, darks suits and sidecurls would deflect the attention of Customs inspectors at Kennedy International Airport." This, of course, is hilarious and only goes to show the immense level of Jewish stupidity. How could one even possibly imagine a more suspicious looking character than a greasy Hasidic Orthodox Jew? Immediately after this, on July 20, the media announced the single largest drug bust in New York history. Two mongrel, Israeli, Jewish dope-peddlers from Tel Aviv, Israel Ashkenazi and David Roash, were arrested in Manhattan with over a million ecstasy tablets, a whopping 450 pounds, with an estimated street value of $40 million. This may sound considerable, but Jew York's own Hilary Clinton says that two million pills are believed to move through Jew York airports every week.
Ecstasy (a.k.a. methylenedioxymethamphetamine, MDMA, or X) is without a doubt the most Jewish drug ever marketed, that is, other than false religion. This drug is mainly manufactured, imported, promoted and vended exclusively by Jews. Experts say that the use of this dangerous Jewish drug has exploded. The Jewish dope-pushers claim that their Jewish poison is harmless, but in reality, it burns out a person's brain. Knowing that the Jews tell unfeigned lies is certainly nothing new. Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ was recorded in the Christian Bible as saying that their father was the devil, and that their father was the father of all lies.
Health professionals say that MDMA can cause permanent brain damage, i.e. cognitive impairment, memory loss and depression. The National Institute on Drug Abuse has stated, "In the short term, ecstasy can cause dramatic changes in heart rate and blood pressure, dehydration and a potentially life-threatening increase in body temperature. In the longer term, research shows that ecstasy can cause lasting changes in the brain's chemical systems that control mood and memory."
Satanic Jews will stop at nothing to destroy the young minds of America. Young girls who put themselves in bad situations are usually raped after some antichrist puts ecstasy in their drinks without them knowing it. No doubt, they want to make zombies out of everyone one way or another and rape the young children of America, but as for this Jewish ecstasy phenomena, it is the Jews' favorite kind of game. They get to murder or cripple the mental stability of the Goy, and get filthy rich at the same time. Filthy Jews!
BOBOV HASIDIM THOUGHT THEY WERE ONLY SMUGGLING DIAMONDS
Sentencing Drug Courier, Judge Rebukes Hasidim
Dozens of Hasidic Jews packed together shoulder to shoulder in a Brooklyn courtroom yesterday, seeking leniency for a teenager who forsook his strict upbringing to help run a huge smuggling ring that flooded New York with the designer drug Ecstasy. But to their surprise, the 70 members of the Bobover sect found themselves the subject of a scathing lecture by a federal judge who upbraided them in a quavering voice for allowing an international drug smuggling ring to flourish in their mi

Hasidic courier sentenced in designer drug import scheme
NEW YORK -- An ultra-Orthodox Jewish man who recruited demure-looking couriers in Brooklyn for an international ecstasy ring has been spared a harsh prison term by a federal judge. U.S. District Judge Leo Glasser sentenced the defendant, Shimon Levita, 18, Tuesday to 2 years in federal custody -- but not before taking his Hasidic supporters to task.
''Where was the community when all of this was going on?'' the judge asked in a crowded Brooklyn courtroom. ''Who was keeping tabs on 18-year-olds who were flying drugs back (from Europe) and taking money there?''
Levita had faced up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiring with six others to import millions of ecstasy pills. The couriers were told they were carrying diamonds. But authorities say they ignored obvious signs that each shipment consisted of up to 45,000 pills destined for sale in New York City and Miami Beach. They also allegedly smuggled proceeds back to Amsterdam in suitcases holding as much as $500,000.
